The Focus Band™

 

Swinglab are proud to announce their recently developed Focus Band™.

The Focus Band™ contains three sensors that wirelessly transmits the brain activity data back to a PC for analysis. The Focus Band™ shows a golfer how to improve their:

1. Focus of Attention,
2. Anxiety
3. Muscle tension.

The Focus Band™ uses Audio and Visual Bio-feedback to train the golfer to focus in on a target or a feeling

Focus Meter : Indicates whether the user is in Focus or out of Focus.The threshhold can be adjusted for each user to accomodate the different levels of attentional focus

Anxiety Meter : Indicates the users Anxiety levels. The audio alarm threshhold can be adjusted for each user, to accomodate the different skill levels

Muscle Tension Meter : Indicated the level of muscle tension. The audio alarm threshhold can be adjusted for each user, to accomodate the different tension levels

Eye Blink Meter :Indicates whether the user is blinking excessively. The audio alarm threshhold is adjusted for each users blinking habits

4 in 1 Trend Meter : The Trend displays all measured elements in real-time, so visual comparisons & trends can be observed. This graph is showing muscle tension (solid brown) Focus (green line) and Anxiety (red line)

Brain Activity :This is a reference signal to ensure valid data is being read by the sensors. The signal should be visible within the window at all times, indicating valid data

Focus Counter : Indicates the amount of time the user has been in focus for the current training session

Out of Focus Counter : Indicates the amount of time the user has been out of focus for the current training session

Focus Activated Video :The video start/play is controlled by the users level of focus. It is used to try and distract the user and get them used to ignoring certain distractions

Brain intensity meter :This spectrogram indicates the users level of brain activity at each frequency. The brighter the colour the higher the activity

Tag Button : Is used to Tag a particular point of interest while the trend display is in view. A blue vertical line will be highlighted on the trend display. It is useful for tagging when a golfer strikes the ball, so that refernce can be made to their focus, anxiety and muscle tension at impact

Reset Focus Button : This button resets both the Focus and Out of Focus Counters
